Where each test measures

Every score comes with a margin of error. Each test is most precise inside its own band, and the two bands overlap, so you can take QUADRAVA-FR first and go on to PROTEUS.

  • Precise range: error at most 5 IQ points
  • Scale beyond the precise range
  • IQ 195: rarer than 1 in 8 billion

What makes these tests different

Nothing to memorize

No trivia, rare vocabulary or advanced mathematics. Every rule you need is on the page, so the score reflects reasoning, not schooling.

Time to think

Both tests are untimed. Work for weeks if you wish and come back to a problem with fresh eyes. Depth counts, speed does not.

Answers you build

There are no options to pick from. You draw the panel, write the sequence or state the plan, so guessing cannot raise your score.

Honest scoring

Scores are deviation IQs (σ 15) with their margin of error. The norms are published as provisional and are refined as more attempts come in.

The law changes once

Each row is a ring of ten cells, read one moment after another. A single black cell moves by a hidden law, and that law changes once. Tap the cell where it will be at t = 6.

Under the PROTEUS Principle of the Best Explanation, a law that has changed keeps its new form until the evidence shows another change.
