Jo Christopher Resquites is a licensed agricultural and biosystems engineer from the Philippines, with a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Eastern Visayas State University and more than fifteen years of international experience.
He serves as a local volunteer and ambassador of the Triple Nine Society for the Philippines and is listed among the society’s international press contacts. He is also a member of Mensa and Intertel. His tests are independent and are not published or endorsed by any of these societies.
He writes tests about the moment ordinary tests leave out: when the rules are new, the evidence is incomplete and the pattern changes without warning. Both tests follow the same principles.
A founder’s reflection · Resquites’ Law
I’ve come to believe that Newton’s Third Law applies to intelligence, too—that for every mental force, there’s an equal and opposite internal force to balance it. The sharper the intellect, the heavier the weight of doubt, overthinking, or emotional friction that often comes with it.
I call this the Law of Intelligence Neutralization (Resquites’ Law):
For every gain in intellect, there’s an internal counterforce that humbles or hinders it.
In other words, the smarter you are… the dumber you feel.
- Original problems, so no answer can be memorized or looked up.
- Constructed answers, so guessing does not help.
- No time pressure, so the score reflects depth rather than speed.
- Published, provisional norms with stated margins of error, refined as data come in.
